People are fascinating creatures. Powerful and vulnerable. Open and closed. In contact or in themselves. Targeted or dwarrelend. Future-oriented and wistful. Dejected or hopeful. Character and background play a role in the ' being '. Just like the situation you are in. One thing is for sure. We are all different and we need each other.

There She Stands – acrylic on canvas, 120 x 120 cm.

Making Music Together - Acryl in frame and mat

2020

Making music together. Wonderful! Something to lose yourself in, to enjoy. For performers and audience alike. This kind of collaboration requires coordination and practice, but also leadership. The conductor plays a key role in shaping the sound of the piece—using hands to signal direction, rhythm, and timbre. Includes a brown/burgundy-red frame with a mat.

Woman on the curb – acrylic, unframed

2018

What is she doing there? Is she waiting? Crying? Is she happy? Or is she wandering? Does she love the streets? Is she looking for a lover, a friend, a man for money, money for a place to stay? Or is she simply waiting for the bus? Or does she take a rest? What can you really know when you see only the surface and never strike up a conversation? Before you know it, you misinterpret things. Acrylic on cardboard, unframed

Mother and child

2009

In this painting, I searched the contrast between hard/chilly and love. The love between mother and child as the most intense form of love (warm colours, round shapes). The background hard, and cold (cold colors, sharp, pointy shapes). However, the composition disharmonierde so much that I have adapted the background to the topic. Love overcomes the hard world. In luxe list with  passe-partout (mat).
